Valter Mambretti – Our longest serving staff member!

Valter’s career began in 1975 immediately after graduation. The Castelli International Company hired him in 1980. Valter’s first job was to sell over the phone and estimate costs for pipe-fittings. After three years, Valter switched to external sales.

For Valter, the most pleasing aspect of his role in sales is building relationships with people he loves to work with and understanding how he can help them. This approach has seen Valter build a combination of friendships and long-term results for himself and customers.

One project in particular remains a favourite for him. Twenty years ago, Valter had booked a single contract of one billion Italian lire with a large company that was responsible for the construction of heat exchangers. The project was for tubes supplied in alloy 625, which were destined for final use in North America.

During Valter’s career, the company name has change several times initially from Castelli International Company until today as NeoNickel. Valter has learned throughout his employment and his experiences have contributed to his technical and commercial knowledge.

Over the past 37 years, the competition has become increasingly aggressive and now we must fight to achieve good results. Today Valter recognizes the strength that NeoNickel has in its inventory and processing capabilities to deliver what customers demand.
